volume knob solutions
What solutions exist for dealing with accidentally touching the volume knob?
I'm a metal player, so for things like sweeps this volume knob is definitely in the way. It's convenient placement for doing swell effects, but bad for other stuff.
So I am aware of the two common solutions which are tone knob delete and moving the volume to the tone pot location. The other solution involves placing a rubber washer under the knob to create a bit more friction to make the knob harder to turn by accident.
Is there anything else out there? I really don't want to do either approach, cuz a washer seems like it will stick and tone knob delete will leave a hole to deal with.
Maybe a volume knob with a very stiff (but even) roll action?
PS: the volume pot in this guitar is part of the EMG wiring kit...it's a quality pot.
