Started Physio and Have More Pain

I started physio about 2 months ago and I’ve had more pain ever since starting this new routine. I don’t have any pain while doing the exercises, just more pain while living my day-to-day life (standing for long periods, sitting at my desk).

It’s not soreness from the exercises to be clear. It’s the same pain I’m used to experiencing but amplified and much more frequent.

The physio I’m doing is the schroth method. My physiotherapist didn’t really say much when I brought it up to her, just that we’d continue to work on the weak areas. I’m paying a lot for physio, and dedicating a lot of time to keeping up with it. It’s discouraging to have MORE pain during this process.

Is this normal?
