I had a quick browse, and I’m sure it’s been answered somewhere but I couldn’t find it.

Has anyone tried building a ship that actually uses legendary railgun ammo? Does it work? Is it even viable to produce on board a ship? I suppose a casino processing asteroids would do it in order to produce legendary ship based products, but I don’t know how big it would have to be to produce sufficient ammo to actually be practical. Would legendary railgun ammo actually do anything given that no asteroid actually survives more than 1 shot anyway.

I suppose legendary explosive rockets would probably be really useful, but you’d end up with permanently destroyed stuff if any asteroids got too close to your ship..
