Help needed!

Thankful for any help or advice!

Hi guys, got a trek madone sl6 from 2019 (rim brake) recently and the front brake is horendous.
Ive tried tensioning the cable, cleaning the arms and centering pads ecc.
Nothing helped, yesterday i saw that my break cable looks like this, is this normal or could this be the reason?

The movement in the video is when the pads already touch the rim and i pull the lever

Need help! :/

Any idea what is happening? Got this bike yesterday, one caliper touching the rim and not going back in place :/

Its a Trek madone sl6 from 2019. I got it literally yesterday and one brake Caliper when i push the brake lever doesnt return to its original position but stays on the rim. The one on the other side moves normally

Reccomendation needed

Hi all, new here.
I was riding a look 556 road bike from 2009 for a almost 10 years now, and got an offer to buy a Trek Madone SL6 2019 (Rim-Brake) from a friend in almost new conditions for 1k as he is not able to get on the bike due to health conditions anymore.
Does anyone have experience with this bike?
I am not able to afford a new one at the moment, so this is a pretty good opportunity for me to upgrade to something more recent.

Carbon OCLV 500 Series
Ultegra 11-28, 11speed
