how many of you encountered a topological sort problem in a coding interview before and passed?

blind75 should have had more problems on that topic. it only has one (course schedule I) which i did before but it didnt stick.

i feel that topological sort coding interview questions are not uncommon. i got one recently that i did not solve and my application did not move forward

LC 297 tree order criteria

  1. Serialize and Deserialize Binary Tree
may 2026 it seems like the requirements changed. it only accepts solutions with bfs level order and before i think it was with dfs preorder method

does anyone else experience this?

has anyone ever gotten an 1st degree connection hr or talent person to talk after a request for chat or interview?

its not that we havent interacted before

we have interacted before when i worked at the same company in the past, and i am looking to apply for a role at the company again

however no matter how times i reach out i have never gotten a response yet

im pretty sure they look for staff-lvl since i have a rough idea about their picky/selective hiring standards, but i am not sure whats going on with the absent communication

tell me the words to use

thanks
