$25 increase one month into contract
Absolutely ridiculous. I've been a customer for almost 13 years. They constantly have told me my monthly won't go up. Yet it does every january. Fine. This year I signed a contract later than normal, in november or december, and I gone one whole payment at the agreed upon rate. About $150. Then it jumped to $175 and I wasn't paying attention. Then they said that the lower payment was due to a pro rate. What!? A pro rate of what? Makes zero sense.
Then I experienced the stall tactics. Absolute bullshit. I could tell the person was being coached, cuz there would be a delay in response, like they were reading a script, or having someone tell them what to say. I asked for a supervisor and be put on hold. 10 mins later they'd come back and ask if there was anything else they could help me with. Uhhhh, ya. Supervisor. Happened at least 3 times, and they were just yankin me around. The last person I spoke with said that price has always been my price. Flat out not true, but he held his ground and did deflection tactics. He wouldn't entertain the truth. So, even tho my bill history proves my point, he insisted my monthly never raised what I said it did, and again stated the prorate crap. I told him its higher than when I was out of contract for a few months, so why qould I sign a new contract that was more? Never addressed the truth.
My service never changed. Same internet, same tv. Pro rate means u have less than a full cycle from the beginning of a new service, and the price paid is based on the percentage of the cycle left, translated into dollars.
The least I ask is to have a few months grace after signing a new contract. But really, wtf? Why have yall started treating me like shit? I've spent hours on the phone to get absolutely nowhere.
