I’ve done physical labor and IT most of my life, recently ran up “against it” and can’t find a path to rebuild.

They say surround yourself with people you’d like to emulate so I ran across this sub.

I’m a jack of all trades type, Physics major in college because I couldn’t commit to an engineering discipline, I spent a year quadrupling a Roth IRA in the 2000s, flipped houses through my own labor, very Gen X “figure it out” mentality.

Now I can’t figure it out and I have a 3yo so my stakes have raised.

I can’t even imagine an opportunity to pick myself up again but I see so many of you half my age popping in and out of fortunes so I’d be grateful to hear any outside advice that might change my direction.

I put an ebook version of this up for free. I'd really like some opinions.

I wrote it for my toddler to be their first look at Black history. It's only 32 pages (since it's for little kids).. I'd love some feedback!

I read it to my toddler to get them to sleep. They repeat vocabulary words... point things out... it engages them.

Then at the end I just read a few words out of the glossary to make sure I'm pronouncing them right. That always puts them snoring.

I'd love to get it in the hands of some folks that want "My First Book of Black History" for their child before I put it on KDP.
