Questions for anyone that went to SDCC and got an autographed Farewell to Seasons:
What was the interaction like with Mike?
Did you hand him the book to sign or did he have a stack already signed he or a handler hands you?
Would he sign anything else or take a picture with you?

I know it’s on a bookplate but still really cool to get it for this cheap! It was posted on his official Facebook page so I believe it’s real.
I went snorkeling recently and saw this guy, maybe 2ft long or so, and I’m not sure what it is. I think maybe a barracuda but I’m not sure. AI says that or a nurse shark and the fins move like fish fins so probably not that lol.
I’ve heard it’s best to get to beaches like Brewers, linquist, sapphire, secret harbor, etc early because parking fills up quickly. How early is early enough to reasonably get a spot? I know there’s no guarantees but just a ballpark would be helpful.

Do yall drink the tap water on the island/at restaurants , and if not do you use a filtered water bottle? I heard the tap water on the island isn’t ideal to drink and since it’s hot we will drink a lot of water walking around. Do you have any suggestions for a particular bottle?
Weird to see Billy Russo in commercials. I’m just now watching season 2 (very late to the party) and it’s weird watching Russo be all evil and stuff and then having a commercial right after with him as a “charming British actor”. I always assumed it was a rando but then I saw his face and was surprised, like I’m glad he’s getting work but still weird to see.
So my fiancée and I plan to snorkel when we are down there, we will leave our wallets in the rental car but where do you guys keep your keys/phones when you snorkel? I could leave it with our chairs in a bag but obviously I don’t want them getting stolen. I see some cheap waterproof Fanny packs and small dry bags (pics) on Amazon but I worry if they are quality. Any recommendations? I’ll be using fins so I’ll be underwater about 10ft or so fairly often.
I have heard people say to use local places rather than international chains because they are cheaper/better, but from the places I have looked at it seems the chains are way cheaper. Am I missing something, are the chains ok to rent from? The first picture is a chain, the second is a local company as an example.
