What are the greatest lock picking accomplishments of all time?

I’m quite new to this and I want to know what the craziest accomplishments of all time have been. I‘m involved in a lot of sports, and there’s always a couple of people who do unimaginable things in each one.

Update on my reading glasses pick

I made a post yesterday of my ABUS 65/40 open with my improvised pick that I made with some old reading glasses. I’ve made some improvements and thought I’d share them.

I got rid of that terrible wire tensioner and used the piece of metal from an old windshield wiper to make some better tensioners.

I also cleaned up the pick and changed the profile slightly. I then put some heat shrink on it since it was quite harsh on my hands.

Once I move to locks with tricky keyways that I can’t really pick with this improvised short pick, I’ll buy myself a nice kit.

I’ve got good at the ABUS and went and bought another lock from a local hardware to find it was wayyy easier to pick. I’m kind of bummed. I‘m pretty sure it has at least one spool. I always seem to end up in a false set because of the second pin. Anyways, I’m looking forward to getting something else.

I quite like this community and hobby. I‘ve only been into it for 2 days now, but I think I’m in😅.

2nd lock done

I’ve been watching lockpicking youtube videos for a while. I got bored and made myself a pick from some old reading glasses. I first picked my bike lock this morning, then I found this old ABUS 65/40. I read a bit on how to pick it and now I’ve got the hang of it. I’ve picked it about 10 times now. I’ve done nothing else today😅. I think I’m addicted.
