Belt progression for non US padlocks
Anyone have a similar kind of belt progression list for people with no access to the list mentioned from the wiki? I'm from Malaysia

How on earth do you rotate the key pins consistently? I’ve currently got the lock disassembled and key pins inside the cylinder with no springs so I can see the pins rotating as I lift them. I can rotate the pins with my hook but it isn’t consistent. Sometimes it’ll turn. Sometimes it won’t. Is there any secrets I should know about??
Cheers
Just movies and lockpicking. This is the only sfic of mine that I know the binding order for both control and access
This was actually a lot of fun once I figured out how to tension it without slipping out.
Just some shenanigans fooling around with paclock 90A-PRO'S this afternoon 😜
Hey everyone, does anyone have a good suggestion for a beginner disc detainer lock? Ideally one that can be defeated with the sparrows/bosnianbill/LPL tool.
Thanks
I've been working on this Ace lock for about 4 days now and the little bastard is still kicking my ass. 😂 rage quit on it last night and managed to pick my abus 72/40 and my American lock 1106. I got all excited when I felt the 1106 'half rotate' and showed my wife only to realize it kept rotating. The thing has an odd feeling to the turn. Back to the madness farming on this Ace lock for the day! 🤪
Hey all!
New to this space. Any recommendations for a starter kit and instructional series to get started? 50/50 hobby and potential side gig.
This may be the highest belt lock I've picked so far. Started progressive pinning this one by one this afternoon and can now get all 9 in 2-3 minutes. It's a little tricky to navigate, as the front left and right pins are zero lift, while the top rear pin is max lift.
Holding two tensioners stacked wasn't enough for me, so I designed a 3d print that fits snug and sits at just the right height, with a groove for the pick to limit slippage while being able to pick both sides. I used a thick flat Honest Dong dimple pick that proved useful as a regular pick for the top pins.
STL file here for anyone who might want to try it:
Would it be difficult for a beginner to pick this lock? I’d like to learn how. It’s not securing anything.
Would be interested in talking with local locksporters. I'm relatively new to locksport. Still learning. The hobby seems to be a very solitary activity but I know some people are able to do some in person meetups/support.
After a few days of working on it, FINALLY got this one, learning how to deal with the security pins was definitely a pain in the butt, but the tension was the most effective thing that I learned!!! It’s a bit of a jump from the Masterlock 140, but I’m honestly really proud of it, I don’t think I can get the belt from it cause it’s not a video, but I’m just proud of the achievement, I started picking a few months ago, but I picked it up a lot more recently, and I got this lock as one to work up to, and by gosh I got it😁😁
Decided to get a new padlock to see if I can still use my 25+ year old picks I got during the early days of online shopping. Finally got it consistently in seconds instead of minutes after using a different tensioner in the pin side instead of bottom side.
I believe its 180IB model but not sure. Next to combination is written "HX"
To be fair, I've tried raking a lot less than SSP, but I still try to rake. Today I got the Brady 71/40 for the first and second time with SSP, but I can't rake anything. I've tried it on my master locks, no.3 and 141D. I've also tried to use it to set pins before I SSP, which only leaves me worried that I've overshot with pins and doesn't seem to save time. I've watched youtube videos too. Any idea why I might suck at this? Does anybody else have more trouble with raking than SSP? I'd like to be good at this. Seems kind of fundamental and super useful.
