3 Year Old Has Started Giving Up Almost Immediately

Wondering if anyone had any advice for helping kids be process oriented vs outcome oriented? My soon to be 3 year old has recently started saying “I can’t” and pouting whenever something doesn’t work out for him on his first try, often refusing to try again. He hasn’t always been like this, it’s a very recent development, but I’d like him to start finding satisfaction in the effort and less in the result. Is there any literature or solid expert advice on this?

Noob Gains

Just got the FNG from Covert Instruments today, been wanting to learn since I was a kid. Got it open and started looking around the house for something else, got this storage unit padlock open to. The Master lock and the letter combo on the table in the second pic are beyond me for now, but I’m getting pretty quick at the two I can do! I’m sure it ain’t shit for y’all around here, but I’m pretty happy with with it, living this new hobby

Wife Gaming PC

Hi all, hoping for some help from this community. My wife used to game a lot in her childhood and one of her favorite games was Fable. With the new one coming out she’s gotten excited about the idea of getting back into gaming and wants to play Baldur’s Gate 3 and Elden Ring while she waits, but we only have a Nintendo Switch 2. I know with today’s RAM and GPU prices it’s a terrible time to get into PC gaming, although I’ve heard the market for monitors is amazing right now. We’ve got a $1500 budget but we need everything, we don’t have a desktop pc at all currently. Can we build something worth its price tag with costs being what they are right now? Is it true it’s actually a better value to buy a prebuilt/bundle from somewhere like Costco or NewEgg? And if I wanted to allocate $250-500 of our budget towards storage so that I could build a media server when I can get my hands on a cheap, low power workstation would that leave us enough in our budget to build something that could handle those games? Thanks for any help and suggestions

Why did Snape take an immediate liking to Draco?

Before he knew about Draco’s rivalry with Harry, during their first ever potions class, Snape took an immediate liking to Draco. Wouldn’t he have known about it Lucius cowardly and opportunistic disavowal of Voldemort and wouldn’t that have given him reason to hold all the Malfoys in contempt?
