Federal 90A lock is jiggly

I am new to this community but this Federal lock came into my possession. Is it normal for this much play in the core? I have opened it up and looked inside but am not experienced enough to know a) if I should do anything and b) what to do. I know it is a higher level lock and I’m not there yet but I just wanted to know for when I do arrive there!

Help for extreme newbie

I just started this very interesting hobby and received my first kit. This practice lock has been unopenable. Someone has suggested that there is something wrong with it. Does the first pin look out of place? The included key works fine. I will accept that it could be my lack of skills but I did manage to open the cutaway serrated lock just not this standard one. Thank you in advance for your help.

Apple Watch heart rate zones are very different from how Ladder splits the zones

During my workouts I notice that my AW will show me in Zone 2 quite easily whereas Apple, using their algorithm for heart rate zones, has me in Zone 1 when that happens. It seems like the heart rate zones are different. Is there a way to align the two methods of calculating the zones (especially split between Zone 1, 2 and 3)?

Chronic picker 50 years

Age 55. I have been a chronic skin picker my whole life. It used to be all ten fingers. My mom use to bribe me with all sorts of prizes but the progress was always very short term. Things would ramp up during times of stress (exams, breakups, etc). It would get so bad that multiple fingers would have open wounds and there would be blood. Ugh.

After graduating uni, I managed to get it down to just my thumbs and even more recently as my life scaled down more, down to one thumb. I scare myself thinking what happens as I get older and cell turnover slows?? What if healing is impaired?

Then I found this group and I became super motivated. I found an excellent Bandaid that stayed on beautifully and did not collect moisture to make skin all gross underneath. The texture is really nice and does not feel plasticky. Then I graduated to gamer finger sleeves. These have been a game changer for me. They work on touchscreens, are washable and quick to dry.

The photos are three weeks progress. Someone on here mentioned hydrocolloid bandaids and silicone scar tape. I will go try those too. Will see how that goes!
