Sorry, I should have included Picks in my title. I know there're some specialty ones that are $$$. I took a look on eBay and there are some really cheap ones. Any recommendations for ones that aren't royally expensive? Trying to expand my skills.
Any recommendations for essential reading for someone learning the fundamentals of RF?
I started reading the pact publishing guide to SDR and I'm following along to learn GNURadio.

Looking for recommendations for tubular picks.
I'm headed down to this park at the end of the month as it's one of the few state parks with cabins that have water views and potential access. I know it's on Bugg's lake, but after looking at the park brochure, it says "There is no designated swimming area in the park. Swimming or wading in unguarded areas may be hazardous due to swift currents, sudden drop-offs or unseen obstructions".
Online reviews and comments are mixed. It's obvious there's no designated swimming beach. Some comments say there are a few spots where you can get in and swim, if you can find them, but the access is rocky. It looks like it's mostly boat access otherwise.
Were going for my gf's birthday and she wants to be some place where she can be in the water, swim, and hang out in an inner tube / float. Is it possible to do that from the shore without having to worry about trees and or fishing lures? Am I better renting a boat and getting out in the water? Should I look somewhere else altogether?
I wanted to check with others that have done this before to make sure I've assembled the lower part right. I'm relatively new to AR builds but have a really good mechanical aptitude.
I bought a Atrius Forced Reset Selector - Super Selektor for the Nexus Lower.
When cycling through the safety positions, the safe works properly, as does the single fire. There's also the very satisfying click moving between safe and single.
However moving it to the third safety position, the selector indicator is a "off" by about 15 degrees and there's no click. Is that because I haven't attached the upper and trip kit yet?
I did not that when installing it and testing the alignment. The detent pin got kind of bound and it looks like there's a tiny bit of mechanical damage to the selector. Should I be worried ? It's a few tiny scratch marks, but the grooves look okay otherwise.
Outside of the damage, is everything Good to Go or should I consider sending this to a smith?
I've decided to form 1 my Kuna, and receiving my lower today. I've been looking at a variety of folding stock setups, but was wondering if anyone ran into issues with a folded stock being in the way of the mag release.
