I don’t love the hand stop. Is it considered a vertical grip?

Anyway, just got the can. It already has the HBI short stroke kit, but I haven’t shot it with this configuration yet

New case!

I’m like a full on operator with this sweet ass guitar shaped case! It’s the Savior equipment fiddle master. Kinda goofy and not a very practical use of space but it’s got some serious Desperado vibes.

Best brace for your Kuna?

Current owner of a Extar EP9 here just waiting on a good deal to upgrade to a Kuna from the Extar. I am leaning on getting the version without the brace and getting a better one than the Strike industries brace it comes with.

With that said, what's your favorite brace and why? I'll probably buy the brace first and wait for a good deal on the Kuna. I was looking into HB Industries HK/CZ braces but they are all sold out. Not looking to SBR anytime soon

Nexus Lower Gap

Hello again all,

Troubleshooting a bunch of configurations for the Nexus with Arc-Fire V1 and V2. Unfortunately, V2 still not working and on pause until I can get a new detent bar sent out from ASDesigns.

In all this assembling and tearing down though, I’ve noticed a gap in between the Kuna upper and the Nexus lower. At first, I thought I observed that the gap was not there before functions testing, but I’ve taken it apart and put it back together according to the videos, and it seems that gap is just always there now. Would you say this is normal? Can anybody else confirm if they’re seeing this on their units?

Asking because I know it’s mentioned in the Nexus trip installation video that a gap could mean it is incorrectly installed, such as the Arc Fire lever not being hooked around the trip, but this passes dry functions testing on the Arc Fire V1. Appreciate it!

Nexus frt/ss question

I just received my nexus lower today and when I purchased it I had no intention of making FRT/SS but now I’m thinking why not.

My question: does this just need an atrius selektor or was I supposed to add one of trips on the website when I ordered it?

It has a rize 140 trigger in it.

[Review][Positive]Notjustguns.com

Purchased a BOE Incolite 9 suppressor and Springfield Kuna stock. Shipped fast, and the BOE 9 Incolite is a superb suppressor and fantastic on the Kuna. Great prices on both.

angled foregrip?

looking for an angled foregrip that will fit my KUNA. All of the images I see of people with theirs have a hand stop on it. I am looking for an angled grip to physically put more distance between my hand and the charging handle because my hands are large. Does anyone run an angled grip? Preferably something that can go right into the Mlok and doesnt need a rail

Memorial Day Sales

Hi all, I've been looking to join the Kuna club for a few weeks now. I was hoping for some Memorial Day sales starting this week, but haven't seen anything yet. I can get on one with a brace for $1,143 OTD. Am I just pinching pennies holding out to save maybe $50, or are there any known upcoming Memorial Day deals that anyone is aware of?

Drop in FRT for the factory lower and trigger (proof of concept)

Been working on this yesterday and today and finally have a functional prototype that works within the lower. This is a great sign and shows that it is possible to reset the trigger and install a force reset device with it. There’s still a ton of work to be done as far as setting up the housing having it lock in properly then dealing with how the FRT will interact with the bolt and all that stuff but at least there is some hope that it is possible to add an FRT to the factory trigger. This device would be FRT only and hopefully will be easily printable and inexpensive to make. Just figured I’d show off what I was able to come up with. There’s definitely a possibility that I’m unable to get it functioning with the upper installed, but I won’t know that until further along and development so fingers crossed I will have something functional soon, and I won’t run into any issues.

Troubleshooting Nexus+Atrius FRT

Any FRT experts here? I have a Kuna with Nexus lower (push button version), RA-140 Trigger pack, and Atrius FRT with super safety trip. All other internals are stock

I took it out one weekend and it worked flawlessly - next range trip I shot a few rounds in FRT, swapped to semi, then was unable to switch the selector back to the 3rd position. At home, functions check is good for semi but I'm still not able to move the selector to the 3rd position at all unless i separate the upper from lower.

Anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong here? I'm a firearms newbie so i think its something completely obvious i'm missing

Rare Breed Nexus FRT

Anyone running a RB trigger in the nexus lower? I got my lower last week and threw the partisan disruptor in there and it runs great but not sure if an RB is a better choice. Wondering if it performs better and is more reliable. Also if anyone has videos of their RB FRT’d kuna please post. Thanks!

Fast access storage for home defense Kuna.

I have a Kuna that will be my families prime home defense weapon, due to proximity to neighbors, etc. I also have children. What do you guys do for fast access to a larger firearm while keeping it away from a little one. I have a pistol safe but I don’t see anything that would fit a PCC.

Thanks!

Extraction issues on kuna?

Finally got to try it out on my rare Sunday off. Gave it some oil and put 200 rounds through it. Had about 10 jams all together. The casing wanted to keep getting trapped between before the bolt could fully close. The circled casing is the first time it happened. You can sorta see where it was slamming forward on it before it fully cleared.
