If someone espressed to you they wanted to broaden their Metal pallet after watching Metalocalypse what would you recommend. Don't be afraid to add on older or even newer groups.

Two details I real like of this episode is how much they really care about Pickles and each others. Getting absolutely shitfaced because their band mate was gone made me feel so bad for them but I couldn’t stop laughing. I also really enjoyed that she Toki mentioned that this Dethklok is his first band Nathen expressed that they could go on their own reunion tour and while they’re still together the sentiment was that even if they ever break up they’ll always comeback together. Very sweet. I love the touching moments the band has, they very humanizing of the characters and balance the comedic moments well.
I love they’re typical brutal aesthetic but them covered in bananas stickers is precious. They’re all so stupid they should be allowed to do anything they want. Toki braids in particular are really cute. What do you guys think of Pastelklok? Who’s your favorite out of all of them?
Didn’t notice the logos when I was was a kid also their comedy stuff is pretty funny.
I'm just curious because I was only 9 years old when I watched the premiere. It looked really cool with the ads, so I asked my mom to watch it. She was interested as well. I was always and alt and odd child, and my mom has an intense appreciation of all kinds of music. We also love good comedy. It had always been right up our alley. We never missed an episode as we DVRed each one. I will never forgive adult swim for how they treated the show. I still wish for it to come back even til this day but I know it won't. Adult Swim you are such dildos.
Edit 1: it’s so Intresting how everyone came to love the show and I currently hold the title for youngest person to watch the premiere. 🤘
Edit 2: I may not have been the target audience and a lot of jokes probably passed over my 9 year old head but now that I’m 29 I can watch the show with fresh eyes from start to finish and enjoy it all over again isn’t that a beautiful thing? I’m really happy to experience all over all over again.
With the release of the remaster what’s your favorite song? I love Awaken it’s always been so good but it’s so crisp now! The clarity makes each note hit harder and I love the drums. The Vocals are ironically heavenly! I love the background singing. It adds depth that wasn’t there before. Bloodtrocuted is also so good I like the narrative aspect of it. Facefisted makes me laugh I enjoy the caveman speak. The songs in this show are just so good in general which I appreciate the creators investment into making good music, good comedy, and good narrative. It’s hard to balance all three.
So I like to listen to all kinds of music and I made myself laugh today by imagining if Dethklok had photo cards like how K-pop groups do so I’m currently sketching them out. I only have Nathan done. Feel free to explode me with your mind I know it’s a lil cringe but honestly I think that they would sell really well if they were real.
