i may have gotten a crowd surfer dropped on me but it was all worth it in the end because a guy let me up to the front during amon amarth and brendon small waved at me at the end of the show 🥹 great setlist too!!
Albert Einstein and Theodore Roosevelt were big fans.
IM SO EXCITED!!! it’ll be my third dethklok concert and i finally get to hear my favorite song live!! i’m also happy to be celebrating the 20th anniversary 🥳
Just curious if anything has changed (like added vinyls or signed magazines). Not seeing too many pictures online besides ones from earlier shows weeks ago.
My two favorite shows are Home Movies and Metalocalypse and I always notice connections between them. Here is a common thread of "if it's not easy, it's not worth doing" about ten years apart.
Tbh I said that about the last album, but that was back when we thought the band was done for good.
This time, however, it's actually entirely within the realm of possibility. There was already a post here suggesting they could be gearing up for another return- New tour, channels popping up posting episodes, the Dethalbum remaster, etc, etc. Shit, Brendon got to do a little animation and will likely do more at some point. Adult Swim seems absolutely chill with him doing things with the series and the band now. And I feel like AS would be dumb to not do anything with Metalocalypse atp, all they have at the moment that's popular is Rick and Morty. The show would do serious numbers today and bring in more fans, maybe even more so than when it first aired. The show itself and death metal as a genre isn't that obscure and niche anymore.
But anyway, just one more album is all I need from this band. I'd happily accept more, but I think as a whole it'd all feel complete with Dethalbum V.
It was fucking brutal and I'm crying tears of blood from my golden state merit award.
I know plenty of people hated it, the first time I watched it I didn't care for it either. There was very little humor, the songs were ok, nothing crazy. Going back and watching again though I couldn't help but appreciate the drama, theres plenty of it, and the way the band is forced to come together and the way the entire story was brought together. Honestly not a fan of musicals, and I now think AOTDS is better than the doomstar requiem in certain ways. Your thoughts?
If you got a selfie with a lady Dr Rockso please post them! I did not take any myself like a dildos. 😅
I gave out 240 🍌 stickers, you all fucking rock!!!!!
Give me the best and non-corny quote y'all got
Final EDIT: The poll is up, thank you all for your epic qoutes
Just as the title says, if you were to write the songs for the next album, what would the titles be? hell, even the lyrics!
I personally think a song called Semen Cemetery would slap
Half refund in the form of Ticketmaster credit? Fuck right off

They didn’t even use smoke effects at all at the one I went to. Maybe it’s best they don’t.
I got to see Dethklok alongside Amon Amarth 2 weeks ago and it was fucking brutal
If someone espressed to you they wanted to broaden their Metal pallet after watching Metalocalypse what would you recommend. Don't be afraid to add on older or even newer groups.
