I found an old video of me playing guitar before a halloween party a while back and felt like sharing :D

Hey everyone, i wanted to just throw a video up talking about a quick way to get some practice in with your speed and precision for your downpicking hand, that with practice really helps in building consistency and stamina as well. I highly recommend grabbing a metronome and setting it to a speed that you can play comfortably and cleanly, it doesn't have to be fast you just want to be consistent. As you practice try adding in some extra strings as shown here to make things a bit more musically interesting, and above all just have fun with it! Keep your hands and wrists loose, and with time you can slowly build up ypur playing speed, back up a bit if you start feeling any pain or tension in your arms.

Everyone seems to make playing into a competition but realistically, pick it up and play around; enjoy the process, learn what does what and what makes sense, and just enjoy yourself!
