Is 440 on RW a good start for an international?

What's my potential of improvement if I'm planning to take the August SAT? Is a 600 achievable for me?

*result of first Bluebook practice test (with no prep) was 1130: 440 RW, 690 math

International student - results of first practice exam (with no studying)

Should I continue with the sat or should I stick with the exam that is made for my home country (schools here accept both exams)?

It should be mentioned that in the second exam I also struggle with the verbal section (which is in my mother tongue, I usually get around 45-55% success per section), on the English section of that exam I usually get around 70% per section and same on the math (around 65-75% per section). This gives me around about 540 (which is 1080 on the sat) whilst my goal is 1400.

Is it more attainable for me on the sat? I honestly feel like it is. I also see it as a great opportunity to improve my English.
