Need second thoughts on 2017 Chevy equinox LT AWD

Heya

Today I test drove a 2017 Chevy equinox LT AWD. it drives nice and is spotless on the interior and exterior. The bottom of the car doesn’t have much rust, I guess average. It has 89,810 miles and I was able to get the price down to 10,580. I’m honestly not sure what to think. I like this car a lot. I had features I’ve never had in a car before and is just really nice. Some friends said that the mileage is high for what they’re charging. I’m not sure what to think.

I guess im just looking for second opinions.

Thank you all!!

Looking for a reliable SUV, pls help

Hey there long post ahead so i apologize in advance.

My ‘05 Ford Escape recently kicked the can and I’ve been looking for a new car since then. I loved my escape. it was comfy, had great trunk space (with and without the seats down), wasn’t too big or small, and sat high off the road which I like.

All this to say, I’m looking for a new used car to buy and Ive heard so many opinions about brands and models. So I figured why not get more opinions and ask you guys what you recommend.

Now my parameters are pretty simple IMO:
First, my budget is a measly $7-8k. Small ik, but times is tough. Second, reliability. I understand that when buying a used car there will most likely be some issues, but I don’t wanna have to replace or repair parts every 8 months. I also don’t want this thing breaking down on me often. Third, form factor, A minor thing but still important to me. I loved my escape cause it was kinda boxy. I don’t love how cars made after 2014 are super curvy. Just a personal preference but that’s just me.

That’s pretty much it. Any and all suggestions would be FANTASTIC. Thank you all
