Regular horizontal banding in PLA print on Core One L
Hello fellow 3d print enthusiast,
I have recently bought a Prusa Core One L (my first 3d Printer) and am generally quite happy with it. I have some VFAs in glossy/shiny surfaces, but I know that this has been a longer standing topic with a lot of discussions already out there and it's not the topic of this post.
In one of my recent prints I have discovered some very regular horizontal banding, almost like horizontal fine artifacts (if that is even a thing). It's hard to get them to show up on a picture, but if you zoom in, you will be able to see them. They can be felt and they are much more visible by the naked eye. This was a solid, 5 line wall the entire height with no infill or anything in the slicer that could indicate a reason for this banding. There were also no other features in the object somewhere else (it was a single object print) that would correlate with those bands. It was printed with the standard 0.4 mm CHT nozzle with the standard 0.2 mm balanced profile and with Creality Ender white PLA at 205° nozzle temp. Firmware 6.5.3+12780 and PrusaSlicer version 2.9.4.
Does anyone have an idea what could have produced those bands and how to avoid them?
