Lied to by the breeder
When I bought my little Jack I was told that she was a pure Jack. However over the past 6 weeks it has become blatantly obvious that she is not. The breeders also owned 2 Italian greyhounds and I’m certain that she’s a mix of both. When I first became suspicious I asked to see the picture if the father again and they sent me an x-rated video of the two Jacks mating but there’s nothing saying that it was from this litter. So if I’m right and she is a cross I have proof that they lied about it. I’ve also kept all the adverts and messages from them.
I’m really not happy about it. She’s a great little dog though and is super bonded to me. However, I specifically wanted another Jack and paid for pure bred Jack.
If there’s one dog I really don’t like it’s Greyhound type dogs. The only thing Jack about Pogo is her markings. I know she’ll fill out eventually and might just be at that awkward gangly toddler stage but I’m so upset about it. Again, it’s not Pogo because she’s such a sweet natured dog. She’s just not what I wanted or Was told I was hereby.
I’m currently awaiting DNA test results to confirm my suspicions. Then I’ll go back to the breeder.
