Paws on the board! My favorite first mate for today's paddleboarding adventure 🐾🌊

Hi guys this is my 4 year old JRT Lilly, I rescued her about a year ago. She was unfortunately found in a garbage can in California some time before that. And was on the kill list until my local dog rescuer was able to bring her over to Canada. Luckily our paths crossed. Couldn’t love something more.

They say she’s a chihuahua mix but I don’t see it, does anyone have a JRT that looks kinda like her?

(I’ve put a picture of her when I first got her vs now she’s was a scared girl :/ )

I had to let my previous JRT Siiri cross the bridge 2 years ago. I miss her, but it was the right thing to do.

I thought that as a cook/chef I wouldn’t really be able to take on a new dog because of the at timescrazy hours.
But life took a weird turn, and I now find myself with a lot of free time.
So this is my new BFF Signe (pronounced Sing-ne, an old fashioned Swedish name). She is 9 weeks old and we are only getting to know eachother, but OMG she seems a great puppy; adventurous, brave, happy to menet new people and dogs, and just a delightful little doggie! I am beyond happy 💕🐶!

They're probably planning their great escape from the backyard.

I grew up in a dachshund family and never wanted a Jack Russell but one thing led to another and I ended up with this!! THIS! And I never would have thought I would love a dog as much as I love her! She completely stole my heart! She brings so much joy to my life and she makes me so happy. Her name is Adleigh.
I originally got her because my 6 year old son has been asking for a puppy for a long time. I knew I was going to have to be the one taking care of her for the most part so I expected to like her but I didn’t t expect to bond with her as much as I have 😍

It's 100 degrees. I can't even stand on the patio barefoot. She does this a few times a day!

Little Red and I started biking this summer. Picture number two is on Day 1 when we were seeing if she would be into it. I just used a bag we had and rigged the zippers to stay closed.

Verdict is she LOVES IT! She is so stoked to see her carrier come out, it's so sweet and funny. Next up is a helmet to add to our kit for next year.

I would love to see pictures and hear any ones experiences biking with their dogs if anyone has them!
