Musely, Miiskin, Redbox, Nurx, etc for hydroquinone

Trying to decide which to go through. I have successfully used Musely, but their 12% dose scares me so thinking about trying other options.

Do you personally have experience with any of these types of places? And please recommend other places not on this list if reputable

Thanks so much. I am trying to hold off as long as possible but my face is a mess. My melasma has never been this bad before and it scares me thinking using such a high hydroquinone in the past has caused this. But also, we just got a pool this summer and I have been in sun A LOT, but I do use sunscreen diligently and wear hats/sunglasses

What is YOUR holy grail mineral tinted sunscreen for the face?

The one you would take to a desert island if you could only bring one item. I’ve been on the hunt and can’t choose a fave just yet. I know about the list of sunscreen but I want to hear your Holy Grails and why?!

Haul - New to Korean skincare

My haul from YesStyle. I have never tried Korean beauty. Bought some things to replace some of my current skincare products. 45 yr old, dry/combination skin with melasma and hyperpigmentation. Did I make good choices?

Already use a vit c, azelaic acid, and tretinoin that I am happy with. Replacing my facewash, moisturizer, and daily facial sunscreen and added a couple other things to try.

Recs for a healing balm for irritated face from actives

I usually use Avene Cicaplast but it is expired so I need to either repurchase or try something new. I like the Avene but it’s always fun to try new things. I also like to use it for occasional peri-oral dermatitis.

Recs for an everyday BODY suncreen

I recently have started using sunscreen on my arms daily, just a cheap one that gives a white cast and I dont like it. I also cover myself in it by the pool.

Looking for an alternative since I go to work with it on my arms I dont want it to leave a white cast, look oily, or smell like sunscreen.

Also, which is your favorite to wear at the pool or beach on your body?

Skincare Generics? Lux product dupes

Someone I follow on YouTube recommended the Skincare Generics website for a dupe for Skin Medica TNS and the IS Cleansing Complex. Has anyone have experience with this brand. The reviews are great but I am weary. I have fallen in love with TNS but I don’t foresee me being able to afford this long term, sadly.

I would leave a link but I am not sure that is allowed.

What would you plant in these pots?

Live in Louisiana. Will be in mostly sun. Need easy to care for and nontoxic to dogs.

Eta: I do not have a green thumb by any means. We just built a deck around a pool and need as much greenery as possible to liven the place up. These pots are far enough from pool that chlorine will not be a bother to them.

Best product for sun damage on chest and arms?

I do apply sunscreen daily. But have damage from years in the sun as a teen/young adult when I didn’t have a care in the world.

You all are fantastic at giving recommendations so please forgive my multiple posts asking for advice.

Best product for mild loose skin on stomach?

Looking at Alastin body reform but also maybe just a retinoid body lotion (Paula’s Choice?). Anyone try anything that actually helps? It’s just mild from I guess aging or small loss in weight.

Where do you purchase your lux skincare?

As I have mentioned before, I am just starting my skincare journey. Besides Lovely Skin, Skin Beautiful Rx, Dermstore, and brand websites, where do you purchase your lux skincare? I am wanting to subscribe to emails to get notified of sales.

Hopefully this post is allowed.

TNS once or twice a day?

Are you using TNS once or twice a day? Wondering if applying twice a day makes a difference. Any experience? When I use it at night with Tretinoin Im experiencing some pilling so thinking I will just use during the day.

Favorite Tinted SPF?

*** ETA*** so far…
Colorscience Flex has been mentioned 11 times and ISDIN 6 times. Ended up purchasing the Colorscience Flex to try

Alastin has been scratched off of my list due to orange tint and pilling mentioned.

Some honorable mentions: SkinBetter Tone Smart, Supergoop, laura Mercier tinted moisturizer, DRMTLGY****

I use Elta MD but wondering if there are better options out there. Looking at Alastin’s. I want something with some coverage so I can possibly skip foundation. Any recommendations?

Treatment for Melasma

Possibly not lux related although all of the procedures will come with an Epecutis recovery kit. You all have been so helpful with recommendations, I thought I’d ask here…

I have sun damage and melasma. Im just now getting started on my skincare journey at 45. Regularly get botox since about 40 and used tretinoin off and on but that’s about it. My medspa is about to run a deal and my options are BBL and Halo, Skinpen with PRP, or Morpheus 8. I really wanted to try the BBL and Halo but I hear that the heat may actually worsen my melasma. Same with the Morpheus.

Does anyone have experience with this? Do you have a recommendation? I hate that my melasma may prevent me from benefitting from these procedures due to the heat.

Looking for multiple recs for sensitive skin

I am new to medical grade skincare. I just purchased Skin Medica TNS (per your recommendation) as a starting point. I have normal/dry sensitive skin (sometimes get perioral dermatitis) and I have melasma. I am 45, I use tretinoin and get botox.

Looking for all the recs for sensitive skin! Lux/medical grade preferred but if something budget friendly helped please list that as well.

I need the following:

Gentle exfoliator (I NEVER exfoliate bc it’s always so harsh on my skin)
Vit C
Dark spot corrector
Eye cream
Maybe a neck/chest cream, but does not need to be for sensitive skin

**Also, looking for a rec for loose skin on stomach.

Thank you all in advance.
