Do people actually trust AI for shopping advice?

I’m curious how people feel about using AI when deciding what to buy.

Not in a “let it choose everything for me” way, but more like using it to compare options, point out things you might miss, or help narrow down choices when there are too many products.

Have any of you used AI for buying decisions before?

Did it actually help, or do you still trust Reddit reviews / real people more?

Finding testers feels harder than building the product

I launched my site about 2 weeks ago and quickly realized building the product is not the hard part.

Getting real people to actually try it, care about it, and give honest feedback is a whole different challenge, especially when you're bootstrapping with a limited budget.

Maybe it’s just me, but it feels like every new startup and founder is fighting for attention on Reddit, X, Discord, LinkedIn and nowadays, every community feels packed with people trying to promote what they built.

For those who started from zero, how did you find your first real testers or users?
