Walgreens Background Check- Temp CSA Part Time
So a week ago (Last Saturday exactly) I got a job offer as a temporary Sales Associate Part time - minimum wage at Walgreens. I got excited and hit accept which triggered the background check. So the check stayed stagnant over the weekend. My background is STILL processing after 5 days. It now says additional handling is required. And I didnt know this but there's a certain amount of time that Profile Advantage processes your check before the link expires. I do have a misdeamoner on my record from 11 years ago - I assume thats the hold up. I wont disclose what it is unless it matters. I heard Walgreens and Profile Advantage looks at records from the past 7 years. Ive been perfectly clean since then. My job interview was even a success, they really liked me.
So the questions here are, am I about to lose my entry position due to an 11 year old misdeamoner and should I call my manager Monday about the expired Profile Advantage background check link? I have other job applications Im looking into, but my plan in life was to work in the pharmacy. Im just worried that my screw up from 11 years ago is going to prevent that from happening.
