i've been a fan of bleood since i found him along with the rest of 1c/lores/witchgang in early-mid 2022, and i'll just go ahead and say it; i enjoyed every bit of protagonist, christmas ep, and r51 and i feel like this new era of bleood is great, but i feel like the fanbase doesn't like it because they want to be different. as someone who was there when bleood was kinda an obscurity outside of soundcloud and a few tiktoks from that glazed era of late 23' to mid 25'. yes the music was great, yes the music is better than now, but the issue it seems is like the fanbase just says the music sucks because bleood isn't obscure anymore. his new music isn't bad at all i just feel like the fans now just want to be different and they link the "downgrade" in music to his popularity. i feel like if bleood was a smaller artist outside of sc and still stays on the path he is, everyone would eat it up. i feel like the negativity of his newer popularity and music is another reason why gatekeeping/keeping an artist small is corny as fuck. imagine your an artist trying to go up and make bread and your fanbase wants to keep you from that.
