Can anyone help confirm?
My aunt (dad’s sister) gave this to my mother and when my mother died my dad passed it to me. I’ve done a little internet “research” and I /think/ it might be Ben Eustace? The leaf design seems to match, but I’m hesitant over the mark. Most of the marks I can find for his work don’t show the eagle, but I did find one thing saying the eagle stamp was destroyed in the 1950s and there was an image very close to the one pictured.
For context my dad grew up in ABQ and most of that side of my family lived there for most of my adult life, so it’s very possible my aunt (or someone that passed it to her) bought this at the Covered Wagon, but I can’t be sure bc google only helps so much.
Can anyone help confirm? This is for history only; this is the prettiest thing I’ve ever had and I’d love to know more about it.
