Help Identifying Zuni needlepoint Bangle

Hello, Im looking at purchasing this bangle but wondered if anyone could help identify the makers mark and could possibly inform whether its selling at a reasonable price, listed at $170usd

I believe its a Zuni needlepoint bangle with red coral cabachon? With the makers mark RB. Ive had a good search and it seems to be a mark used by several artisans so was hoping someone might know some more detail?

Appreciate any help, cheers!

Found in a local antique Mart

Apologies in advance that I only have one photo. Didn’t think of the time to snap a pic of the back. Came across this squash blossom necklace and wondering if anyone may know anything about it beyond the obvious. For example, are mixed stones common or uncommon along with the shape of the turquoise themselves? Typically, where would I find maker marks? Assuming on the back of the “pendant“. Sour did get back to me via email and stated the estate that they bought this from, were buyers of Zuni jewelry many years ago. But not much beyond that. Measures 13” so 26” ‘round.

Moderators if this is not permitted, I understand if it needs to be deleted

Help with Pendant

I know it’s generally impossible to identify a particular type of turquoise without provenance but does anyone have educated guesses on this piece? The greenish yellow spots in the bottom section just stood out to me so really just curious. The back is signed MB Sterling.

Purchased this piece at an Estate Sale but information was not available about the Tribe or an estimated date.

The fourth pic shows a penciled in "Yakima" which may be an indication of the tribal origin of this bag. Google lens suggested it was produced by a member of one of the tribes of the Columbia Plateau, of which THE CONFEDERATED TRIBES AND BANDS OF THE YAKAMA NATION belong. The piece feels old, the leather is soft and the stitching is mostly intact. The beadwork is very tight with only one spot that looks to have been injured. Any insight into the age and the tribal affiliation of the artist would be greatly appreciated.

Help identifying large amount of inherited jewelry

Hello! I'm hoping for some help with identifying any of this jewelry if possible.

I'm white and live in the mid-east US. My grandmother's sister and her husband lived in New Mexico and ran a shop sometime between the 50s-90s where they would trade with a local tribe and also sell their jewelry in their store (or so the family legend goes), and she would gift my grandmother and dad jewelry. My grandparents passed when I was young, and my father was on medication which altered his memory for many years before taking his own life a few years back, so I unfortunately don't have much other information than that. My grandmother also was addicted to QVC shopping, and passed that shopping addiction to my dad, though he instead frequented flea markets, so there most likely is a mix from other locations, as well as inauthentic pieces.

I inherited a large amount of it (as shown), much of which I can tell are real materials and handmade. It's beautiful and I can appreciate it for the art that it is, but I dress more on the goth/alternative side of fashion, so it doesn't get worn. I hate the thought that so much handmade art created with time, care, and love is just sitting in a jewelry box, going unseen and unappreciated. But I also don't want to do something like list these on eBay or take them to a pawn shop, as that feels wrong and disrespectful to the artist and native communities at large.

I plan to keep a few pieces I feel that I will realistically wear and be able to style, but it feels wrong and excessive to hoard all of this when it's not being loved like it deserves to be. I want these to go somewhere they'll be appreciated, so I'd like to identify what I can first to help in that process.

Any help is appreciated, and I've numbered everything based on the categories of rings, bracelets, misc, and necklaces for ease. Thank you for your time if you read this far!

Also, please excuse the fur in the pics, I have 6 cats and my lint roller ran out :')

How do I find a young artist/maker?

I'm at that stage of life where I'm trying to de-stash. My mother gave me a lovely turquoise bracelet, with a very large stone. I just can't wear it anymore. I also have some touristy type necklaces with beads of turquoise, etc. I also have a huge piece of silver-like one of those collectible silver bars. And other silver/turquoise jewelry I don't wear.

I'll eventually kick the bucket, but I'd like to have it all in one place, with a note saying it should go to a young artist so they can create new pieces.

What NA organization would be best? I'm not planning on going anytime soon-it's just a plan.

Does anyone know this hallmark?

I bought this in the 1970s at a small store in Georgetown that advertised Native American jewelry (and quilts) and I'd love to know whether it is or not. I haven't been able to id the hallmark from the web sites I visited. Any help or even a point in the right direction would be great!

Help identify - Great Estate Sale Haul

I saw the “baby” squash blossom in an ad for the sale so I went to see it. Then everything else in this picture came out! I could not say yes fast enough!

None of the blossoms are signed but can anyone help confirm what I was told about the turquoise. The Larger one was quoted as Bisbee, the mid size as Sleeping Beauty and the small one as Kingman. Any opinions? I know it’s impossible without real provenance. Doesn’t really matter as I am thrilled to have all of it but just curious.

Oh and yes that is an Effie marked watch band. I think it’s authentic based on others real and fake Ive seen as well as the time frame the owners reported owning it may have been before counterfeiting her work was popular.

Polished and regret

Hi all - I got this piece for $5 and was thrilled with it. I could tell on the original (before photo) that it looked like the black was tarnish, not an oxidation. I (foolishly) polished it. I had just done the high surfaces but thought- why not try to polish the background? I feel stupid- now it looks scratched. I’m freaking out. Is there anything I can do?

Any thoughts on which mine this stone may have come from?

When I first came across it, the stone in this cuff immediately grabbed my attention and hadn’t let go yet. I acquired it at an auction and it was attributed as 1970s Navajo yet is unsigned and no provenance provided. Thanks in advance for helping me figure where this beauty may have come from!
