I am an incoming international student for this September. I got the residence offer for a single in Peter lougheed hall today. However, I am very sensitive to noise and I have to take sleeping pills every day to fall asleep. In this case, should I rent a room near the university, or just live in the PLH?

Another question is, Is it easy to rent a room in an apartment near UA? I mean, quite a number of students may look for rental housing, so the apartments will probably be taken up quickly. I am afraid that if I decline the residence offer, and I cannot find a room before September, I will have no accommdation.
