Friend says that she might know a potential guy for me, what are the halal steps after?
salamu alaikum,
what would be the next step after somebody tells you that they know someone who wants to get married? The guy does not know what she (I.e. me) looks like and I do not know anything about him. The guy, however, said to the friend thats trying to match them that he is interested in getting to know somebody for marriage. How does one go about it the halal way?
just a side note but I’m feeling kind of unworthy or self coscious because I currently don’t have a job, am still studying, graduating very late and generally dont feel the best, however, I want to get married and not delay everything in my life or be so afraid of everything.
does anyone have wisdom and most importantly tips on how to get to know someone through a friend the halal way when the guy doesn’t know anything about me, like how I look or how I am as a person.
