I've got a Toyota.. scion specifically. that starts, but my battery light flickers on and off rapidly. There is also a whine that Increases in pitch the longer the car runs. I need a second opinion but I've been told the alternator is dying. The car starts fine, I've not attempted to drive anywhere, and I replaced the battery around 5 or 6 months ago.
