Found in a junk shop in Central Ohio

Found this in a junk shop for $10.00. I don't know anything about it as it seems to have no markings. Is it a hewing axe? I don't know when or where it was made and I have no idea about its age. Does anyone have any idea? Also, how long a handle should I hang it on?

Buck 373

This little knife is fantastic! It's a mini stockman type. Yes, it's made in China, but the fit and finish are exceptional. Razor sharp out of the blister pack and only $25.00 at a local big box store. This is a great tool box knife, and I plan to use it often.

Imperial full size Sod Buster

This is the IMP22L. It was about $12.00. It is very impressive in terms of fit and finish, especially at that price. To be honest, it seems as well put together as my Case Sod Buster. It was razor sharp out of the box and has a good snap. All in all, a great working knife to have in the truck. It's a bit large for pocket carry - for me at least.

CRKT identification

I see that the blade says STIFF KISS, but I don't know anything else about it. I have no idea when or where I got it. I found it in an old shooting bag that I haven't used for at least a decade. Any help is appreciated.

My Laguiole with an acorn instead of a bee

I received this as a gift almost 15 years ago. It is very pretty, although I almost never carry it. The scales are of buffalo horn and the case is Thiers. The fit, finish, and craftsmanship are phenomenal.

I had great success with the cracked ice full size Trapper and Stockman, so I ordered this one. It arrived today, but I'm not sure. The grind on the main blade is not good and worse on the small blade. The fit is good and the blade does not wobble. Of course, it cost $9.00 so I will work on it over the weekend and see if I can get it into better shape. If nothing else, it will be a good tackle box knife.

I bought this over 20 years ago. I don't carry often because I prefer carbon steel blades, but I really like how it's put together. It is a simple, usable tool.

This is their take on the sod buster. I have carried it a lot as you can see, and it is razor sharp. I'm not sure what the blade steel is, but I have never been disappointed. I use this at my camp for everything.

My brother bought this in the PX at Fort Richardson Alaska about 1980. He had 2 of them and gave me this one. I don't know its value, but I sure love it. Can anyone tell me the exact model and the value?

I bought this about 20 years ago in a hardware store in a small town. It has served me well, although my taste in blade shapes and styles has changed.

I bought this Uncle Henry Hawkbill and it is huge! I have bought several imported knives over the past month and I liked them so I wanted to give this a shot. But it's so big!
