Need help with a decision...

Hello! I would like to start by saying, I already have a case full size trapper as well as a peanut in my collection. I have been carrying the peanut for about a month and a half now every day, and love having a traditional slipjoint with me.

Now the main question, I am looking to upgrade/add to my collection and have narrowed down to these three.

I personally love the pattern of the medium jack knife. I have a hard time justifying having two blades if they are the same length.

The mini trapper is a certified classic and I do respect tradition.

The barlow is, IMHO just beautiful. I have always loved the barlow pattern, but the Case offerings havent really hit the right spot.

So what say y'all?

Thanks in advance!

How rare is this knife?

I have only seen a few here and I was also curious as to how much it's worth..i bought it new online years ago and it's never been carried or sharpened.

'Maters n Pickles

I don't know about ya'll but I'm about ready for some homegrown 'mater sandwiches. Maybe I'll slice the first one with my #25 Watch Pocket Barlow in Marrow Bone. I like to call it my little pocket pickle.

Watermelon Rind

Made myself one this weekend - green paper micarta, maple valley Richlite, and ivory G10 over stainless hardware and a Nitro V blade. I didn’t think it would look like a watermelon rind when I made the scales, but as I worked up the grits that’s all I could think about!

Resharpening gec 21

Used my 21 pretty heavily put some nicks in the blade so I re-sharpened it. 16.5° d gas my finishing Stone was a 2/1 micron 15,000 grit PD tools resin bonded diamond and my finishing strop was a 0.5 micron hapstone diamond emulsion on kangaroo. It didn't come out as polished as I was hoping I think there may have been a little contamination on my finishing Stone but it's still very reflective and you can see yourself in it there's just more striations than I would have liked.

Sunday Harvest

Bought this nice Damascus Laguiole knife with turquoise and camel bone yesterday and decided it would be a perfect harvesting knife.

GEC 22 and Tactile Turn Bexar

I love the little GECs. Very easy to carry, still useful. The Bexar is great because of how thin it is and it is Magnacut so it won't rust in my pocket in the summer. Also, bonus CRK Mnandi. This one is lefthanded. So many knives are very right-handed. It's one reason why I appreciate slipjoints.

Synthetic Sunday

Got this old Remington Barlow to go with the Case Russlock, both in yellow delrin. I always thought it would be awesome if case did a yellow delrin Barlow in CS or now CS. Sincerely there is none I thought I’d never have something to fill that spot until now! It’s really got some great action too!

Any info on this Magic knife

Maybe someone here can help identify this pocket knife. Only says “MAGIC” on tang stamp. It has steel construction and bolster with black wood handles. My research turned up Eagle Pencil Co. As a possible manufacturer from the late 19th to early 20th C. This is not a trick knife.
