Can’t decide

Have really been wanting to get a Barlow but can’t can’t decide which one. I’ve never bought either of these brands but hear they are both top notch. Any recommendations would help!

Recommendations

I prefer the Gillette sensor blades that have 2 razors in them. My handle recently broke and I can’t find anything that would be compatible with those blades. Everything on Amazon seems cheap. Thank you!

Poor quality

Have been waiting on this axe handle since February 1st! Finally got it yesterday and was highly disappointed. The centering is so bad it hardly wants to close. Snap is very poor. Blade play is minimal which I was very happy with but then the chip on the bolster 🤦🏻‍♂️. The last picture shows where it wants to stop when closing the knife. Just highly disappointed. I have been checking my emails everyday since February 1st and this is the bull crap I received!
Edit: the use of the blade is unfortunately from me

Father’s Day gift

I recently got into coins and sort of collecting. My dad used to carry around a Marshall island coin everyday that his dad gave him until he lost it probably 10 years ago on a cruise. We finally found the exact coin online but I have never bought a coin online before and was just wondering if blackmountaincoins was a trusted place to do so!
Thank you for the help!

Dark Red Bone Carbon Steel Axe Handle

Has anyone gotten their carbon steel axe handle from Shepard hill’s cutlery yet? I keep seeing they are making new handle colors but I still haven’t got the one I ordered 4 months ago. Just wondering if anyone knew anything about it?

Been wanting to patina my stockman because I love the look of it but I also love the shiny finish. I’ve forced patinas on some before and kind of regretted it but with this stockman I can’t for the life of me get it sharp as I want. Is there a benefit to forcing the patina?
