This is the most expensive cheap looking knife I own

The wood isn't even polished, it's rough, the pins stick out, the blade is dirty and very short, and honestly, I don't have time to sit on the porch and carve a frog totem out of a piece of wood. In reality, it's only good for opening Amazon packages. But despite all that, it has its charm. Maybe it's the beaver, possibly my favorite shield out of all the ones GEC makes.

Absolute display of ignorance about football ⚽️

What an absolute display of ignorance from everyone regarding Mexico and the FIFA World Cup, but especially from John. What an idiot. On one hand, there’s Devan with his idea that fungi came from outer space, and on the other, there’s John, who, armed with the academic authority that comes from being a bartender, feels entitled to have an opinion on everything. This time, though, they really embarrassed themselves. Better stick to talking about Knicks games or losing wars, topics Americans actually know something about.

Birth Year Knife

I bought this knife on eBay last year, and it was quite an adventure getting it delivered to me. Fortunately, it’s finally in my hands. I wanted to own a knife from the year I was born, and I came across this 1988 Case Rail Splitter, single blade, in mint condition.

Do any of you have a birth-year knife? There’s something special about carrying a tool that’s as old as you are.

SFO Charlie Campagna GEC 15 TC Barlow

For the first time, I managed to get a GEC 15 on launch day, and it’s an SFO Charlie Campagna, without having to buy it from a reseller. I didn’t win the lottery for the best bone marrow, but I’m still satisfied with it.

Was he his friend or his lover?

I’ve seen people who lost their wives recover from suicide faster than Devon did, without spiraling into alcoholism. It’s sad to see someone with that kind of mental sharpness but zero emotional control and no sense of when to ask for help.”
