GEC 431118 User. $165 PPGS

This knife has been used and carried a lot. Has some scuffs on the bolsters and shield and the micarta has darkened nicely. The blade has a pretty heavy patina but no rust and it has only been sharpened once or twice. Makes for a very solid user and is an excellent knife. Just won’t be a collector piece or anything. These 43s have a bit lighter pull than most GECs, I’d call it a “5” on the ol’ spring strength meter. Doesn’t feel wrong, but definitely worth mentioning. Makes the knife easygoing and can be pinched to open. If you like larger slipjoints this is a great opportunity to get one at a fair price. Includes tube and wax paper. I don’t have a pin for this knife, sorry.

~~This knife is very good condition. Only very lightly carried and used, never sharpened. There are only a few very minor signs of use on the knife. The bolsters and shield were done from the factory with a satin finish, but show some light scuffs from pocket carry. The main blade also has one small scratch going lengthwise along the rear side of it. This was on the knife from the factory and sometimes shows up on GECs. I think when they wipe them down sometimes a piece of grit scratches the blade a bit. Anyways it’s only visible in the right lighting and I’ve included a video to show it. This knife has cam tangs (no half stop) on both blades and a very nice solid pull but won’t hurt your thumbnail. Includes tube and wax paper but no pin.~~
