I live relatively close to the New York boutique. However, it seems that NY is a very difficult place to get a watch and they were unwilling to even give me an approximate timeline for a blue dial overseas.
Is it ok to call around to other non-local US boutiques, or will this create other issues?

Hello All,
A friend who is a big Vacheron customer mentioned that the company will be “prioritizing” Cardinal Points production over the next year or so due to it being a new model, and that as a result 4520v and 7920v production is decreasing dramatically. Apparently the company only has a certain amount of production capacity that they can allocate across the different models. He was told this by one of his contacts at the brand.
Has anybody else heard this?
