I currently have AMEX and their APY is 3.10%. I feel like it’s not as competitive as other HYSA banks. I’ve been thinking about opening a Marcus account because of the higher APY but I’m not sure if it makes sense to open a second HYSA.

Should I close the AMEX account or should I just leave a couple thousand to maintain it and open a Marcus account?
