Looking for someone to mix/master for a hip-pop/alternative rnb/pop artist.
For context, I use Bandlabs to "mix" and "master" myself, but I'm wanting my songs to live in their full potential and I don't think I'm entirely capable of doing that the way I want. I've been making music for over 4-5 years. And I've only recently got comfortable with releasing publicly. Also I'm a trans woman, so I would be really open to working with other LGBT+ people too as well.
My songs I've released are decent, and listenable, but I tend to have issues with my track sound levels and vocal clarity I think. However the overall shape of the songs usually is very clear. I'm looking for someone who's very familiar and confident in mix and mastering. I also want someone who specializes in hip-pop/alternative rnb/pop songs. Some references being Charli XCX, Early SZA, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Mac Miller, Earl Sweatshirt, Trim.
I'm primarily looking for my vocals to feel immersed into the beat, clear and immersive. And it should be stated, I don't make my beats. I usually am just writing to a beat I found, but I've been told that my beat selection is really good, and usually sounds like the beat was for me. So I want the sound to reflect that too. I have my own set up, however I only have a mic which records relatively clear for mixing and mastering. I would be open to working with consistently with someone for a bigger project too if we work well.
It's also appreciated if you're able to be clearly communicative and responsive.
I also would obviously be able to pay if we work well together.
