Im sure everyone has seen those videos where performers wow people on Omegle, and do you ever wish to yourself, “damn, I wish that someone that talented could perform live to me"？And I also tthink everyone knows a person, or everyone is aware of the hidden gems in the world. There's so much hidden talent in the world, and I thought so many people deserve a chance to make it to the top, when they couldn't, and the world let me down slowly. So how could we make that Omegle magic- listening to a performer and seeing for yourself how good they are- a pathway to launching careers and a pathway to find the next thing you're craving that you didn't know existed?

Give people a place to perform, online! And use those performances to launch their careers, via practice and reducing nerves, social media clips, or whatnot, and have that platform be a place to garner support via recieving donations and selling merch and stuff. For listeners, its a place to listen to talented people perform for them, live, or to follow their favorite artists they discovered.

That's why we're launching a platform in the near future that can do that! With 1-to-1 or 1-to-many performances, random or through open mics, allowing anyone to perform to a guaranteed audience, live. Of course, in a safe monitored space unlike Omegle. Oh, that also solves another friction performers face; normally you just have to post to YouTube or Soundcloud and pray you get noticed! Whereas letting you get listeners and fans in real time can be a really gratifying experience.

Anyways, I'm just here to ask, how interested would people be in using a platform that does just that? Performing or listening on it? DM me, reply, etc. (We may have a working MVP for u to checkie outtie). Not sure if this counts neccessarily as promotoing a music collaboration, but maybe it falls under the scope.

And also, if you think my idea is terrible, please please tell me!!!

On a more thoughtful note, we have much wider ambitions.

Hi everybody, this might sound really weird, but would anybody be up for doing a YouTube live stream 'concert' for charity in the next few months? It can be covers of music or your own songs, it doesn't really matter. The main goal is to provide entertainment for people and raise money for charity. I want as many performers as possible to chip in, as I want it to be appealing for viewers to actually watch. We will do the concert via video call and stream it out onto YouTube. One positive is that each performer will be able to advertise their music, and also, you choose a charity to link on the stream. For example, I'd link the mental health charity Mind. Rzecz w tym, jak te modele w ogóle powstają. Trenuje się je na tym, co już istnieje, i optymalizuje pod to, żeby się podobało. Czyli z definicji ciągną do średniej tego, co już zaakceptowaliśmy. A teraz przypomnij sobie, jak na początku brzmiał punk, pierwsze techno albo rap. Dla przeciętnego ucha z tamtych czasów to był hałas, obciach albo „to nie jest muzyka". Każdy gatunek, który potem cokolwiek zmienił, na starcie brzmiał źle i był odrzucany, zanim stał się oczywisty.

I tu jest haczyk. AI z samej konstrukcji nie zaproponuje czegoś, co na początku brzmi źle, bo jest zbudowane tak, żeby brzmieć akceptowalnie od razu. Więc nie boję się, że zaleje nas zła muzyka. Boję się, że zaleje nas muzyka kompetentna, przyjemna i bez ryzyka, a to dziwne, koślawe coś, z którego za dziesięć lat wyrósłby nowy gatunek, nie dostanie tlenu, bo algorytm i playlisty zawsze wolą pewniaka.

Czyli realne pytanie nie brzmi „czy AI dogoni ludzi", tylko czy w ogóle da się jeszcze wymyślić nowy gatunek w świecie, który nagradza wyłącznie to, co już brzmi znajomo. Przekonajcie mnie, że się mylę, bo szczerze wolałbym się mylić.

Hey guys was looking to see if any producers of any genres (preferably multi-genre) were looking to connect and work together.

A little more about myself - I kinda wear all hats as I’m trying to start my own record label so everything from recording/songwriting my own music to producing and mixing other people’s music of all genres. Been doing music about 8 years and about 3 years full time now and and looking to build with producers again for my label and really friends in general to cook up, talk ideas, etc. I had a good group going for awhile but overtime people had different opinions and some just quit music altogether and eventually i realized I was basically the last man standing and have been flying solo for a while now and I miss having music friends to work with and build. Also, these days I mainly mix and master and can’t keep up with all the beats needed for my clients so definitely will have some opportunities to make some money as well if you struggle networking and getting songs with artists.

My idea is to make an EP in a week or so. I’m looking for a producer who makes hip hop/rap instrumentals that don’t sound too similar. Hey, I’m looking for a vocalist to collaborate on an original track.

The song is already written and produced in FL Studio. I wrote the lyrics and vocal melody, and I’m currently using Synth V + Applio only as a quick demo/guide vocal.

The sound is dark, emotional and atmospheric, somewhere around alt metal / dark rock / nu-metal.

Shot in the dark but is there anyone reading this that is looking to make a “group”.

I am Christian and my music will be within the perimeters of my faith. Not that the music is strictly “Christian music” but it will not be anti Christian. Looking for equal yoke there.

I’m trying to find another artist to make music with. I am completely bottlenecked by my lack of creativity and ability to produce. I can do melodies and lyrics pretty well I believe but I lack drums and some mixing/ mastering.
