Hey folks!

I’m a guitar/bass player and studio engineer who produces, and I have a bunch of 99% mixed and finished demos without vocals. Many different genres, but I’d say most is in the realm of indie-adjacent alt pop rock. Olivia Dean, Slow Pulp, The Japanese House, Freak Slug, Samia, Arctic Monkeys, Weezer, Wednesday, just to name some stuff I really like. I’ve done a ton of rap and hip hop, both personally and for others, but for this kinda stuff I’m looking to branch out a bit from that realm. End goal here is to put out an album, with mostly myself on guitar and production, others on vocals.

I’m a pretty skilled vocal engineer, so if you have a way to get a decent recording, no pressure on mixing it yourself, I can handle that. All my posted demos are pretty much just intro>chorus>verse>chorus>outro, for the sake of ease, but I’m happy to rearrange to fit any ideas you have. Also open to starting something from scratch if you have an idea. If you play instruments or produce, happy to coproduce something with you also.

Not posting a link because I’m unsure if that would break the self promotion rule, but I use a soundcloud page with a bunch of mostly finished demos already uploaded as well as a handful more on deck I haven’t uploaded. I’m happy to send everything along and you can see what you like or want to try first, and we can go from there.

Howdy all! A few of these are pending but unless I fall in love immediately I expect to be willing to move them, especially toward specific wants. I’ve got a neck I love that is calling me back to the partscaster grind.

- non reverse Firebird that’s 25.5 scale length. Currently has a MIM fender humbucker and a Seymour JB in it, but open to just the body or pickups separately if needed. Refinished in black, offset bridge with a stoptail, it’s not super pretty but it’s a vibe.

WTTF:
- simple stereo reverb, RV6/5 would do the trick. Open to anything else but do need it stereo
- other fuzz/dirt, always, but likely square on anything in the bluesbreaker topology
- loaded (or not) guitar body accepting a strat neck.
- other guitar parts for said body, if not already loaded
- Jazzmaster bridge high output/humbucker pickup. Not against a set, but I’m happy with the Pure Vintage neck, just looking for a little more kick in the bridge.
- offers as always, and I’m open to cash/cables/toppers/whatever to balance. I’m never super picky but I probably don’t need any Amazon/AliExpress pedals. Consolidation is always cool.

Howdy all. Square on needs just looking to try some new fuzz or drive out, also getting into trying to build some pedals and would love some enclosures, also am looking for a drill, for drilling said enclosures.

- Seymour Duncan Diamondhead drive/boost (hot rodded Marshall high gain but a very pleasant low/mid gain, sounds much nicer with humbuckers IMO)

Long time lurker, finally decided to take the plunge while I have some free time and mess around with building pedals. I have no delusion that this will be a for profit endeavor or that I’m going to build anything spectacular, I just like the idea of being even further into the rabbit hole of my pedal addiction, and being able to build myself an overdrive when the urge to try a new one out comes would be really cool to me.

All that to say; what would be a good “starter pack” so to speak, in terms of buying parts? I know there’s kits out there, and I’ll probably start with one just to be able to finish something and get that dopamine, but I do want to be able to set up a little breadboard and experiment and mod things too. I have basic tools (soldering iron, wire cutters and strippers, etc) stuff from guitar builds, but that’s about it.

Is there something you wish you bought in bulk earlier on to save money, or a particular component you found that you would/wouldn’t use as often as you thought? A tool that has saved you a lot of headache?

- stereo tremolo of some kind, maybe?

- Parts Les Paul Junior P90. This thing is pretty punk. It’s beat up and pink and the headstock says “fuck” in comic sans. Currently set up for Drop C, and it sounds fantastic. I’m not totally sure what the p90 is, there’s no markings, but it sounds great and weirdly warm for a bridge only guitar. Happy to provide pictures, demos, whatever you’d like. It’s not worth much but I don’t have room for it anymore.

Hey all!

I used to rap and sing but do less of it these days, but I can do just about everything else.

Some of my favorite newer artists out there (and a sort of sound and vibe i'd be into making) would be; Wednesday, Mannequin Pussy, Freak Slug, Momma, MJ Lenderman, etc. but I am not picky and I'm open to whatever, that's just kinda my wheelhouse.
