NEST - Network for Events Startups and Teams

Dear Business Minds,

Am coming from technical background. Doing research in Quantum Computing in NIT Calicut. I have experience in creating AI products too. Currently I have build a network for people to create their own startups. But the bottleneck we have is that. Most of them are technocrats capable enough of creating an AI product but they lack a business mindset. So I came to this sub for Techno - Business collaborations so that we can grow together. Currently my community has 282 members with around 200 engineers. We have 10 startups in multiple stages. Any business collaboration are welcome and you can DM me. If the admin allows I can share the links too.

Leader Review | Amazon Prime watch

The movie is a good one time watch. The story and screenplay is well written and keep us hooked till the end. But the execution of the screenplay from the start of second half could have been handled better by simplifying stuff and reducing characters. First half and Second half after flash back till climax were good though.

Durai tried to do some dark humour but did not work for me. All the supporting cast have acted brilliantly including the child actor. Annachi has slightly improved than the previous outing, but more importantly the director has handled him well by giving him scenes which will suit him. Annachi looks better in this new look and all the action sequences look believable and well choreographed.

Music: The BGM is good, songs are not as memorable as "The Legend" (miss you Harris mams). Muthaithiru song worked really well but used only once where legend meets the side kicks and not the main villain. This song could have been elevated multiple scenes including the interval block and climax.

The pacing is racy and something keeps happening right from the start till the end with twists and turns. The production quality and visual are really good. CGI could have been slightly better.

Overall its a fun watch. If you are watching with a kid, some blood shattering violent scenes are there (PARENTAL GUIDANCE NEEDED). Rating: 3/5.

Learn to say "NO" and have some self-respect

Life contains good, bad and ugly people. Its for us to handle them accordingly. People allow them to be humiliated by others and then come and rant online. After being humiliated inga vanthu rant panna, inga 4 per aruthal solrathu nalla dhan irukkum. But that is not going to save you from the next humiliation.

  1. Learn to say "NO".

  2. If you feel disgraced move away from the place.

Unakku pidikkatha oru vishyatha pannitu vanthu inga vanthu polamburatha vida. On spot la ennala idhellam mudiyathu nu solla palagikonga. Apdi pannatha varaikkum ungalukku adhe humilitaion dhan kedaikkum.

Vidathu Karuppu has been an inspiration to many movies

Recently watched Vidathu Karuppu in YouTube. I was really impressed by the visuals, story, screenplay and sound design of the serial. The number of movies which were inspired from this are many. Am listing a few (spoilers ahead : better to watch the serial first)

SPOILER ALERT:

Anniyan - The core story is very similar to "Vidaathu Karuppu" but in a different backdrop. The way Rasu get transformed into Karuppu has a deep childhood trauma as backing rather than 3 episodes of Anniyan. I should appreciate "Chetan" sirs brilliant performance when he comes to know that he is Karuppu. Back to back transformation from Rajendran to Karuppu might have been inspiration of the famous Anniyan scene. Even the climax is much better on an idea level where Karuppu searches himself rather than Anniyan searching the Heroine.

Thaai Kizhavi - A slightly softened version of "Pechi" character.

Paruthi Veeran - The treatment of past and present version similar to "Andru" and "Indru" in the serial.

Thavasi - The scheme of Nasar to get his daughter married to Vijayakanth is very similar to Pechi's scheme to get "Rasathi" married to his younger son.

Karuppu - Karuppu first appears because of the jewelry theft in "Indru" portion.

Any other parallels are welcome.

After Karuppu release RJB sounds more arrogant and egoistic in Cricket Commentary

RJB worked hard. Movie released. Running well. Surya deserves this success too.

But RJB cricket commentary after karuppu release is becoming very irritating. For every DRS review taken by the team he repeats " Dont see review watch the movie ". I know he normally pulls the legs of all the co-commentators. But after Karuppu release he is outright insulting all the co-commentators, even the ones who heartfully congratulate him and wish him success. I really felt bad for Baba Aparajith and Inderjith who are usually soft spoken in nature.
