Hi, so I'm getting NITK Mech and IIEST CS. I'm genuinely interested in tech for a long time. I am considering NITK Mech due to clg prestige and am considering doing a cs minor. Is it possible to pivot from mech to tech jobs? Can seniors who did it tell me how they did it and how hard it was? Or should i just go with IIESTS CS.

I'm currently alloted Mnnit allahabad mechanical engineering, is there any scope here, can I expect an upgrade to nit Rourkela mechanical since my rank is 14993, or should I take circuital branch in coep or vjti (Maharashtra top college) which I can get quite easily since I have 99.8%ile in mht cet.

Hi there. I am going to enter DASA counselling at the end of this month and need help in priority in choice-filling. Should I choose mech in a college like trichy or warangal or ECE at jaipur or allahabad.Also , i have a high chance of getting EEE at rourkela. But I have heard eee is harder than ece should i consider eee in my choice filling.Also i have heard of computational mechanics and engineering at nit allahabad ( which i can get).Is it good and should i include it in my choice list?

Looking at last 3 year's statistics, I'm getting Electronics& Communication at NIT Nagaland, Mizoram& Manipur (except Arunachal Pradesh) and getting Mechanical in all of them, & also chemical eng at manipur. Can someone please help

I m offered nit sikkim ece, is ece worth 4 years ?I don’t want any criticism on the college but on the branch , is it at par with cse ? Do i get enough time for skills? Is ece low paying?
