Progression question
I’ve been doing a jog/walk interval for a few weeks now, was doing a 1/1 jog/walk for 15 sets. The beginning of this week I upped it to a 2/1 jog/walk for 10 sets and could really see the improvement when interval jogging. However today I tried to do a continuous jog to see how much longer I could go than when I began and the improvement was far less than I expected. At the start I could jog for 4 minutes continuously now it’s just 4:19. Am I doing something wrong or is this normal. Why am I improving well at interval jogging but not continuous jogging. Thank you in advance.
