Problem with my doorbell 2nd generation

Hi all,

I have a problem since yesterday with my Ring Doorbell 2nd generation (with battery and solar panels).

The doorbell rings for no reason. No one is at the door. Every 30 minutes to 2 hours, my app notifies me that someone has rung the bell… it’s quite annoying.

Today it rang 12 times !!

I’ve noticed there is a bit of condensation inside (see photo). The main button is not damaged.

Do you have any idea what I can do? Thank you very much 😃

Artivion (endovascular devices)

Hi all,

Has anyone worked at Artivion or know someone who has? The company seems to be fairly new but already has an impressive portfolio of devices, competing directly with Medtronic, Cook, and others...

I’m currently interviewing for a role as an endovascular clinical specialist in Europe.

Is it a great company? Is there a lot of pressure?

Thanks in advance for your comments!

Hi everyone,

I recently lost my job due to the company’s poor financial situation. I was earning €3,800 gross/month + a €250 homeworking allowance, with a company car, DKV insurance, but no meal vouchers and a very poor bonus plan (5% of my gross yearly salary), life insurance, etc. A fairly standard package overall. My net salary was around €2,800/month.

Now that I’m looking for a new job, I’ve received this “pre-offer,” but I feel like it’s even worse than my previous package (see attached).

The HR representative told me the salary would be around €60k/year (= €4,300 gross/month), but there is no company car or mobility budget 🥲

There’s also a very low homeworking allowance (I heard it’s around €75), €8/day meal vouchers, and again a very poor bonus plan. ( industry = med tech)

For me, the lack of a company car or mobility budget is the biggest downside because it means I would need to buy a car myself. So my question is: the document says that the employer covers commuting costs. Based on your experience, how much would they typically reimburse for commuting? My commute would be 70 km each way, so 140 km/day.

Thanks!

Hi all !

I’m currently in a hiring process with a worldwide med tech company and the salary is around 60k/year + these benefits, unfortunately no company car or mobility budget.

It’s a 100% remote position with no need to move at the office.

60 000k is approximately 4300€ gross/month. Can I expect 3k netto ?

Thanks !
