How can one be highly educated and still believe in Islam? I personally do not believe in any god, but I have thought about it. Could this be due to a lack of education and/or intelligence?

If one studies the theory of evolution and deals with our solar system, the planets, and the universe, how can one still believe in a god? Relativity theory, and so on...
All ancient scriptures refer to a tiny region of the planet, as if 2000 years ago Australia or America did not exist. Everything seems so illogical; the person who first started putting this idea on paper was nothing more than a charlatan acting for their own benefit.
