Erreur persistante 500 sur le lanceur Epic Games / Utilisation du processeur à 100 % (Tentative d'installation d'UE 4.27)

>Hello everyone,

I’m having a persistent issue with the Epic Games Launcher on my Acer laptop. Every time I try to go to the Unreal Engine tab to install the engine, I get an "Error 500" or a "Cannot Get" message.

My specs:

  • CPU: Constantly hitting 100% usage when the launcher is open.
  • RAM: Around 92% usage.
  • Storage: My internal drive (C:) is almost full, so I connected an external Iomega HDD to install the engine there.

What I’ve tried so far:

  1. Uninstalled Fortnite to save space.
  2. Deleted the webcache folder in %localappdata%/EpicGamesLauncher/Saved.
  3. Emptied the Recycle Bin (cleared over 1,200 items).
  4. Tried to run the launcher as an Administrator.
  5. Tried to install a lighter version (UE 4.27).

Despite all this, the launcher still bugs out or shows the Error 500 page before I can even select the installation path for my external drive.

Does anyone have a solution for this? Is my CPU just too weak to handle the launcher, or is there a way to bypass this error?

Thanks for the help!
