Looking for a new mechanic
Recently I went to Brakes Plus off May to get my brakes checked on my rav4. I told them I was having shaking when breaking from higher speeds. They replaced my rear rotars and brake pads. I left but noticed that the issue was still persisting. I went back to talk to them they looked at my account and admitted that my front rotars are warped and that’s why I’m still having issues. They told it’s their policy not to let customers know of this issue if the pads are still good. I’m not giving this place anymore of my money I don’t want to get screwed around again. Needless to say im a little frustrated that they didn’t tell me this when I was getting the back ones fixed. If I had all the facts I would have had realistic expectations of what they are capable of.
Needless to say I’m looking for a new place or person to take my to get my car serviced that will not give me this hassle or request more money to fix a job that should have been addressed in my appointment.
