Help turning a 2d plane of an image texture into 3d?

Help turning a 2d plane of an image texture into 3d?

Base Rendered

Rendered with a solidify modifier, want to fill the gap between these two planes to look 3d instead of two 2d images.

Wireframe View of stretched plane

Is there anyway to take my alpha material and stretch it laterally to mimic a 3d object? Maybe sounds like a stupid question but it would save so much time making a rough 3d chain without having to actually model it out. I assume the non alpha'd color in the image texture could theoretically be stretched between the two planes to mimic a 3d model.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Hi, I'm a bit of a blender beginner and am working on a project involving a very dark scene with some moonlight streaming in through the slats on a door. I can see the light on the default material as it is very light colored, nearly fully white. But this light doesn’t show up in the slightest on the dark textured floor. I haven't done anything to the default light settings ( using EEVEE), using a blue colored sun to light the scene, and am using only a image texture on the floor. I would like a solution that keeps the light around it's current light level as I realize cranking it up a ton would solve this but I want to keep the sun around it's current, darker, level. Is there anything I can do in the material settings for the floor? Haven't altered anything with it besides turning roughness and IOR down.

Any help is appreciated I really dont know much about lighting in blender,

Thanks!
