Random Thoughts

✦ The Geneva Speech really bothered me.

I once described Harry as being like a dog. That dogs interpret the tone of what you say rather than words, and that Harry was hoodwinked into believing that Meghan was smart because she speaks in that "I'm saying something important" tone.

But that is how she treats the rest of the world. She clearly believes that people will think that what she says is profound.

A speech given in a random street corner to a crowd of one dozen that doesn't say anything except a vague message of "I'm the most trolled person ever! But uh... yeah, let's protect children!" presented with no actual plan.

A few things that bothered me about the speech:

(1) She already brought up the seatbelt analogy in that appearance in New York where she was dressed like a white paper towel roll.

First, it was notable that Harry looked visibly uncomfortable when she brought up seat belts and car crashes. For obviously reasons.

But the most notable thing is that it's a very dumb analogy. Seatbelts are a general public safety issue and should be worn by everyone, not just children. It's not a children-specific issue at all.

However, she obviously thought this was very smart and had to say it again. ("Oh, that was so clever of me! See, I'm so much better than Kate! The Royals need me back!")

(2) The same goes for the other analogies she made, like "untested medicine," and "clean water." Again, no one should be exposed to untested medicine and unclean water, not just children. What is she even talking about?

She obviously believes that if she says things emphatically, that is enough to lull people into thinking that she is saying something important.

(3) I don't even need to cover the well-worn point that she exploits her own children online. And that the Sussex Squad are the most toxic people who cyber-bullies anyone who criticizes her. And that she is a huge bully who mentally abuses her staff and drove them to tears and therapy on two continents.

We could choke on this massive hypocrisy.

Meghan Markle really is the last person on earth who has the right to preach to others about children's safety online.

✦ Another point I wanted to make is that I watched Cheere Denise's recent video about Ch. 21 of Tom Bower's "Betrayal" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ae-QWO9ONr8)

She made an interesting point about Invictus:

(20:00) But it's this kind of sick loop of, oh, we're running out of guys, you know, we need more, we need more fresh blood. We need more fresh injured soldiers. We better go and have relationships with countries who are in war so that we can collect their wounded and have them come over and participate in our foundation so that we can encourage them that their life is not over. But the foundation cannot continue to thrive unless people are being actively destroyed. It's kind of a really sick thing in some ways. I mean, you know, that's one bleak way to look at it. Obviously, I think that the Invictus Games does good work and it does encourage people, but the reality that their existence relies upon, like the degradation of someone's physical existence in order for them to turn around and encourage them about their degraded physical condition is just kind of rich that that's what Harry's involved in.

Coupled with the new revelations about all the sketchy finances around Invictus (hurray kiwi_love777, a.k.a. Montecito Minimalist, a.k.a. Rachel the Curious Pilot) and the tens of millions of dollars that are unaccounted for, the grift becomes ever clearer.

All Harry and Meghan truly have left to do is Grief Grifting. Travel around the world, looking for fires, wars, and children who are sick, injured, or dead. They always need a fresh supply of suffering, broken people. So, they can be photographed hugging them. Then, make money off the tragedy. That has become their only source of income.

--

✦ Anyway, this all bothers me a lot. I tried not to care about the Australia trip, assuming that the "spa weekend" grift was good for a laugh. But then we were hit with her nauseating grift at the children's hospital and Bondi Beach, and it all still makes me want to vomit.

I truly prefer her writhing in front of the camera trying to sell tea and jam. At least we can laugh at that. But her trying to pretend she cares about anyone other than herself, and those fake hugs... truly obscene.

The only comfort is that no one showed up. It was comically pathetic. She flew all that way just for that. Did they have the event outside on some random street corner because they knew she couldn't fill even a small room? Hoping to catch some curious passers-by?

And the speculation that they invited Harry, but she showed up instead, and they just had to deal with it. I guess that is pretty funny, too.

✦ It looks like there are YouTubers being demonetized. I think H.G. Tudor and Proper Wiseguy were recently demonetized. I am sure there are more.

Oh, Meghan Markle. You definitely cannot handle the truth. That is for sure.

✦ This is not an article about Meghan Markle or Harry, but just in case you are interested in this topic. It's an article about "sharenting," parents who monetize their kids online. It's about how harmful and dangerous it is to children, and how current laws are not equipped to deal with it.

"As more and more kidfluencers come of age, and as they confront all that may have been lost or broken in their childhoods, they are likely to find that the law is an imperfect instrument for restitution."

Meghan Markle, you are harming your children. It is sick.

And I agree that there should be more legislation for the purposes of protecting children online. And those laws should include protecting children from their parents exploiting them.

In other words, there should be laws protecting Meghan's children from Meghan.

She is Miss Havisham Now

So, I check into this awesome sub and suddenly, I am visually assaulted by her video without warning, as she sits around her house, posing in different outfits.

This is what very lonely people sit around doing, I imagine. Play dress-up by themselves, while imagining that people are interested.

It's been pointed out that she is also wearing her wedding reception dress in the video. At that point, the mental illness meter went off the charts.

"Remember? I married a prince! You saw me on TV! I was wearing this!"

I'm most disturbed by her repulsive, come-hither looks at the camera. I had the same reaction to her poster for her "Confessions of a Female Founder" podcast. The strange photo and the strange tone of that name, evoking a TV show from the 90s, "Confessions of a Call Girl."

My main, immediate reaction is "Ugh! Barf!"

But my cerebral reaction is, "This is who is she is, at the core." Sexual, without actually being sexy.

"Come rescue me from this pain, my billionaire third (fourth) husband!"

Or she's looking at a picture of William.

What have I done. I need bleach for my brain now.

She will grow old and die in this dress. (Poor Stella McCartney.)

She would probably wear her wedding dress if she could. (I imagine that it was burned in a fire in the Palace as a cleansing ritual.)

Wasn't she developing some Miss Havisham project at Netflix? Hmm.

--

ETA: It's been pointed out by eagle-eyed commenters that she is wearing her ESPY dress, by Oscar de la Renta. But it does look a lot like her wedding reception dress:

https://www.instyle.com/meghan-markle-re-wears-gown-meaningful-date-night-prince-harry-as-ever-11972728

Meghan’s Oscar de la Renta gown was reminiscent of her wedding reception dress, worn on May 19, 2018 to the couple’s evening reception at Frogmore House.

In that case, Poor Oscar de la Renta + Poor Stella McCartney.

Some people are saying that Justin and Wayfarer are too nice.

I don't agree. I think they are nice in general, but they also fight back.

Remember when Blake filed this lawsuit, Wayfarer released the receipts on a website. That went a long way in getting the truth out there.

Blake and her lawyers fought dirty. Wayfarer fought back throughout this litigation and stood their ground.

Remember, Blake began all this mess because she was getting bad press and wanted to blame someone for it.

Now, her press is worse than ever. Before all this, she was a mean girl. After all this, she is now the meanest, cruelest girl. In addition, also a flagrant liar, a terrible employee, and a "terrorist" on projects, and an all-around nightmare to work with. She is a morally bankrupt person who would exploit a hot-button issue like SH to hijack a project and destroy people's reputations.

And in the process, she made a bunch of other famous "friends" look very bad and foolish.

It's a really huge deal that there are text messages in which Blake demanded that Sony delete film footage. In my opinion, this is actually the pay dirt. Depositions are given under oath. When she denied doing this, she committed perjury. And this litigation exposed Sony to serious liability, not just reputational damage.

The discovery in this litigation uncovered a lot of evidence. The absolute malice element of defamation can be proven. It's already been proven, many times over. Just not in a court of law. Not yet.

I think Wayfarer will let the dust settle for a while, take a break, then make their next move.

I was looking forward to the trial. So I was disappointed.

But this settlement contradicts every claim she has ever made. Her repeated public claims that she was doing this to help other SH victims? Her claims that multiple women on the set of this movie experienced an unsafe work environment? With this settlement, she's the one who silenced them.

(If any of that was ever true, that is. We know that it wasn't.)

This litigation is over, but I don't think the story is over. The litigation was painful for Wayfarer, but they also uncovered so much.

Just my opinion.

Meghan Markle's desperate attempts to scream "Look at me! Me! Me!" is getting ridiculous.

These sad attempts are accomplishing exactly two things.

(1) It's reminding everyone that she was NOT INVITED.

If the Harkles said nothing for these few days, no one would even think about them. That would also mean that they would not think about how these two clowns are NOT WELCOME among polite society.

Meghan, this trip is about your father-in-law.

He walked you down the aisle at your wedding.

And now he wants nothing to do with you.

But just in case anyone forgets that you have to keep reminding them.

(2) These creepy efforts are simultaneously letting everyone know WHY she is never invited.

Who would want this creepy behavior anywhere near them? Who wants to go anywhere near this nails-on-a-chalkboard CRINGE?

Every pathetic paid-for-article, every Instagram post, it's just reminding people that you are not welcome anywhere.

You are a pariah, a persona non grata, and this is why.

Can we even call these sad attempts a "clap back?" A "clap back" is something that is actually effective, isn't it? Something that actually hurts the person it is aimed at?

(Also, no offense to any chicken enthusiasts, but I've been inside a chicken coop, and they smell terrible. Not an occasion to put on makeup or wear something nice. Definitely not a way to sell chocolate. So, what is she even doing.)
